“We had close friends over for dinner. I used my mother's white tablecloth with Battenburg lace insets. My friend thoughtfully brought a homemade blueberry pie for desert. It was delicious, but we got blueberry stains all over the cloth. I rolled it up and set it aside to wash the next day. I forgot about the cloth for almost a week.
